Cardiff City defender Declan John is reportedly wanted by three clubs, including Scottish Premiership side Rangers where he is currently on loan.
The 22-year-old has fallen down the Bluebirds' pecking order in recent years, leading to Neil Warnock sending him to Ibrox for the duration of the campaign.
John, a mainstay of the Cardiff side that suffered relegation from the Premier League in 2013-14, has performed well in his 12 appearances for the Gers by scoring twice and setting up two more.
According to Football Insider, the Gers are keen to make the loan deal permanent as early as January, but they face competition from rivals south of the border.
Championship duo Reading and Leeds United are also understood to be interested in the Wales international, who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Cardiff City Stadium.
