Aston Villa have reportedly turned down the opportunity to negotiate a new contract with Albert Adomah.
The 30-year-old winger, who has less than a year left on his contract at Villa Park, enjoyed a bright season last time out.
Adomah scored 15 goals for Villa as they made the 2017-18 playoffs and reached the final, where they succumbed to defeat against Fulham.
According to the Birmingham Mail, the Ghana international approached former Villa director of football Steve Round over a new contract towards the end of the campaign.
Talks were postponed due to club's financial issues over the summer but, even with Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens taking over, manager Steve Bruce does not plan to extend Adomah's stay.
Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion were linked with Adomah earlier this summer, while Leeds United and former club Middlesbrough are believed to be currently monitoring the situation.
