Jamie Vardy has claimed that Leicester City played with "no fear" as they began life on the big European stage with a comprehensive 3-0 win at Club Brugge.
The Foxes stunned their opponents by scoring three unanswered goals, meaning just a third win in nine attempts in Europe and a first ever in the Champions League.
Vardy failed to get his own name on the scoresheet, as Riyad Mahrez scored twice - the second coming from the penalty spot shortly after the hour - to add to Marc Albrighton's early opener on a night to remember for the reigning Premier League champions.
Speaking to BT Sport after the match, the England international said: "It's the perfect start. We showed exactly what we can do. No fear, we just played our football and let that do the talking."
Leicester top the early Group G standings as Porto and Copenhagen played out a 1-1 draw in their match elsewhere on Wednesday evening.
