Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has claimed that Shinji Okazaki will be available for Tuesday night's Champions League group game against Copenhagen at the King Power Stadium.
After featuring for Japan over the international break, the striker was left out of the Foxes' squad for Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old is likely to return to the setup tomorrow night when Leicester aim to grab their third consecutive victory in the Champions League.
"Shinji didn't play [against Chelsea] because every time Shinji comes back from the international matches, it is not Shinji, it his brother," talkSPORT quotes Ranieri as saying.
"He needs to recover a little more, for this reason I put him in the stands. Shinji is very important for us, he's a fantastic player and helps us a lot, but, of course, he is available for tomorrow."
The Foxes are performing strongly in Europe, but in the Premier League they have won just two of their eight matches, which has put the club 13th in the table, 11 points behind leaders Manchester City.
