It's party time in Leicester! The Foxes, who were given odds of 5,000-1 at the start of the season, were confirmed as Premier League champions earlier this week when Spurs drew at Chelsea and their success has seen the world's media descend on the East Midlands city today.

All the talk has been about Leicester, and rightly so, but we still have a football match to play here today so let's get to the team news...

Starting with Leicester and Claudio Ranieri has made four changes to his side. Danny Drinkwater and Robert Hut are suspended and replaced by Andy King and Marcin Wasilewski. Elsewhere, Jamie Vardy is back from his two-match ban and takes Leonardo Ulloa's place, while Marc Albrighton is preferred to Jeff Schlupp.

As for Everton, Gareth Barry and Seamus Coleman fail to recover in time, while Joel Robles returns as expected in place of Tim Howard between the sticks. Bryan Oviedo and Romelu Lukaku are back in the team, with Mo Besic and Darron Gibson dropping to the bench.

Leicester fan Gary Lineker promised to present Match of the Day in his pants if Leicester won the league. Here's exactly what he'll look like when he takes his shirt off:

I live with an Everton fan and although he admits it's a great story, the feeling among many Toffees supporters and other smaller clubs is: why not us? You would have said before the start of the season that Everton had a far stronger squad on paper than Leicester, but Ranieri's side have proved everyone wrong. Swansea's win at West Ham this afternoon means that Everton have dropped to 12th, but they will climb back up to 11th with a win here.

The big news there, then, is that Sunderland are out of the bottom three after Newcastle failed to win at Villa, who had lost 10 in a row. Sunderland were 2-1 down to Chelsea but then scored twice in quick succession to turn it around. Norwich look down and out and Sunderland have a game more than Newcastle to play! Anyway, enough about things at the bottom. This game is all about Leicester's achievement. The Foxes will be mixing it in the Champions League next season and while some supporters of the so-called big clubs would rather the same five or six teams got into Europe each season, this year just shows that if you go to sleep like many of them have, then someone like Leicester will show you how to win without 'stars'.

H2H: Here's some head-to-head stats on this match:

– This is the 100th league meeting between the clubs. Everton lead by 36 wins to Leicester's 31, with 32 draws.

– Thirteen of the 19 Premier League encounters have been drawn, including the last five at Leicester.

– The Foxes could beat Everton home and away in the same season for the first time since 1985-86.

The reverse fixture was just before Christmas and Leicester won 3-2 at Goodison Park to ensure that they would be top for the festive season.

Lovely moment now on the pitch at Leicester as world-famous Andrea Bocelli – a fellow Italian and friend of Ranieri's – sings Nessun Dorma in front of what is already a packed house at the King Power.

Wow! Halfway through the fantastic rendition Ranieri helps Bocelli, who is blind, take off his jacket to reveal a Leicester shirt with Bocelli on the back. Pretty cool, you have to say.

Bocelli is now singing 'Time to Say Goodbye', but he's changed the lyrics to 'Time to Win Again'! What is this?

You could argue that they are milking it here, but who knows if Leicester will ever get here again. It's taken them over 130 years to win a top-flight title, so why not do it like this?!

Lineker can't handle it!

PREDICTION: Right, back to the footy! Time to make a prediction and I'm actually going to be a bit of a party-pooper and go for a 2-2 draw. Leicester must have been celebrating all week and with the title sewn up, it's hard to imagine them being at their absolute best.

Few more stats on what Leicester have achieved before we get underway:

– Leicester are the first club to win a maiden top-flight title in England since Nottingham Forest in 1978.
– Only Ipswich (1957-1962) have won each of the top three tiers in a shorter space of time than Leicester City (2009-2016).
– Last season they finished 46 points adrift of champions Chelsea.
– Claudio Ranieri's side have the best home record in the division, amassing 39 points and going 14 games without defeat since their only loss at the King Power Stadium - against Arsenal in September.
– Their average possession of 42.34% is the third lowest tally in the Premier League this season, while their 70% passing accuracy is the worst in the division.

KICKOFF! It's Everton, in their white away kit, who get us underway.

Fairly tame start to the match, although the crowd continue to chant at the top of their voices. The groundsmen at Leicester have to be some of the best in the league and they've produced a wonderful diamond and star design on the turf today.

A two-game ban, but Vardy is back with a bang! Just before the five-minute mark, the England international arrives to turn home an inch-perfect cross from King. That's 23 for the season, two behind international teammate Harry Kane and level with Sergio Aguero.

CHANCE! Similar situation to the goal as this time Mahrez crosses to the back post where King is up and should score, but heads straight at Robles.

Have these Leicester players not been celebrating all week? I was expecting them to maybe be a little off-colour, but they are delighting the delirious crowd with some wonderful football. Vardy switches play to Albrighton, who turns it inside for Fuchs, but the left-back is just eased off the ball at the final moment.

Better from Everton now as Oviedo gets away down the right. He looks for Lukaku with a low cross but Wasilewski does brilliantly to slide in and clear it away.

Leicester captain Morgan goes on a run up the field and he's in the box with the chance to shoot but bottles it and loses the ball. Imagine!

Cleverley loses his footing just as he was about to shoot and the ball sails over the top. Leicester are wearing their new kit today, by the way. It doesn't look that different to the 2015-16 one, but it does say champions on it!

Terrible defensive work from Niasse as he allows Mahrez to cut inside onto that wonderful left foot. The winger decides not to shoot, feeding Simpson out wide, but the right-back's cross is too deep.

Blimey, the rain is absolutely teeming down at the King Power, but the spirit of the Leicester fans is certainly not being dampened.

SHOT! Kante, who is my Player of the Year, has started this game superbly and he's just had a go with a dipping low shot from 25 yards. Robles failed to hold it in the slippy conditions but then just managed to recover and grab the ball before Okazaki could get there.

Far too easy again as Mahrez is tackled by Baines, but the ball drops straight to King and he coolly sidefoots home. Everton have been poor here and you do wonder whether Roberto Martinez has a future with his side playing like this.

King is the only survivor from Leicester's League One title in 2009, so he has won the top three tiers of English football in seven years!

Half-chance for Morgan at the back post as he gets to a Mahrez free kick, but he can only stab it wide on the stretch.

BOOKING! First yellow card is shown to Pennington, who blatantly blocked Mahrez's path as the Algerian easily glided past the defender.

CHANCE! Mahrez with a header! He should do better but can only head over.

Leicester have been brilliant, but Everton are not up for it at all. I thought that they might spoil the party, but the Foxes have been totally dominant. Vardy and King with the goals. Back soon for the second half!

Attendance at the King Power today is 32,140, including 3,337 travelling Toffees. Will the visiting fans get a goal to celebrate?

SAVE! Almost! Stones heads a corner back into the danger zone and Lukaku is there to meet it, but he can only nod straight at Schmeichel.

Lukaku had an excellent first three-quarters of the season, but he has failed to score in his last seven league and cup games.

CHANCE! Fuchs should make it three, but Joel makes himself big and produces a good save.

SUBS: A few changes here. Ulloa takes Okazaki's place for Leicester, while Gibson and Mirallas are on for Cleverley and Niasse for Everton.

PENALTY TO LEICESTER! Pennington upends Vardy in the box.

Make that 24 for the season as Vardy thwacks his penalty low into the net. He gave Robles a bit of stick as he celebrated after the Everton keeper stayed down the middle.

LEICESTER SUB: Change out wide for the home side as Albrighton is replaced by Schlupp.

Seen some people on Twitter questioning whether Robles even wanted to save that on Twitter, but the way Vardy runs up so fast and slams it so hard, staying central was a good shout. He has hit penalties there before.

CHANCE! Baines's deep cross finds an unmarked Lennon at the back post but he can only slice it wide on the volley.

CHANCE! It should be a hat-trick, but Vardy can't beat Robles after running clear on goal.

PENALTY TO LEICESTER! Gibson dives in and brings down Schlupp.

Vardy misses the chance to draw level with Kane at the top of the scoring charts. This time he did go down the middle. Robles dived, but the ball sailed over the bar. Not the most efficient way to take a pen, sprinting into the ball and smacking it as hard as you can like that.

Oh, and it was a definite penalty. Gibson slid in but Schlupp got there first and the Everton man was booked for the lunge.

Oviedo has a go from distance, but it's comfortably saved by Schmeichel.

CHANCE! Ulloa wants to get in on the act, but he only manages to head inches over the top.

It has been oh so easy for Leicester today and I bet Ranieri cannot wait for next week either, when he takes the champions to last year's winners Chelsea, the Italian's former club.

Mirallas with a clever through ball and you think Lukaku is in, but Fuchs does ever so well to stretch back and poke the ball away.

Here's King celebrating his goal a little earlier. The rain has eased off now.

Something for the Everton fans to cheer as Mirallas does so well to hold off Kante and then nutmeg the midfielder. He then got a bit lucky with a 50-50 dropping kindly for him, but the Belgian took full advantage by sliding it past Schmeichel.

LEICESTER SUB: Huge ovation as Mahrez is replaced by Gray. Three minutes added on.

Leicester want a third penalty, and they probably should get it! Gray's cross is blocked by the arm of McCarthy, which was away from his body. Could have easily been given.
