Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has been given a one-match touchline ban and fined £10,000 after an incident involving a spectator.
Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, Pearson has also been warned about his future conduct after admitting to using "abusive and/or insulting words" towards a member of the crowd.
Pearson has recently received the support of West Ham United coach Sam Allardyce after the controversy during City's defeat to Liverpool.
It is understood that the sanction will not come into effect until the end of the manager's appeal period.
