Leicester City have reportedly moved to the brink of signing Fousseni Diabate from Gazelec Ajaccio.
Last week, Diabate's agent Yacine Ayad claimed that the two clubs were in talks over the potential transfer of the Mali international before the end of the month.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Leicester are now close to adding the attacker to their squad having negotiated terms with the Ligue 2 outfit.
During the current campaign, the 22-year-old has netted three goals in 20 appearances in all competitions, and his arrival could lead to Leicester boss Claude Puel allowing one of his forwards to leave the King Power Stadium.
Both Ahmed Musa and Leonardo Ulloa have been linked with an exit, although Puel has previously indicated that he intends to keep Islam Slimani.
