Leicester City have reportedly decided that they may be prepared to sell Harry Maguire this summer if they can secure the signing of Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles.
Manchester United are said to hold a strong interest in signing Maguire, but Leicester have allegedly indicated that they are unwilling to sell the England international.
However, according to The Sun, Leicester are weighing up a £35m offer for Lascelles as they consider potential replacements for their in-demand centre-back.
The 24-year-old helped Newcastle finish in 10th place in the Premier League table during the last campaign, and the Magpies have tied the player down to a long-term contract.
The North-East outfit are unlikely to be willing to part ways with their club captain so close to the start of the season, but Rafael Benitez is known to require transfer funds to further strengthen his first-team squad.
Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson has also been suggested as a potential replacement for Maguire at the King Power Stadium.
