Leicester City have reportedly made a move to trump West Bromwich Albion in the race to sign Hull City defender James Chester.
Speculation earlier today claimed that the Wales international had left Hull's pre-season training camp in Austria to discuss a move to The Hawthorns with West Brom boss Tony Pulis.
However, according to the Yorkshire Post, Leicester have now registered their interest in the 26-year-old, who could now have two Premier League clubs to select from.
It is believed that Hull have demanded £8m from potential suitors for the centre-back, who scored twice in 27 appearances last term.
