Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire is reportedly on the brink of agreeing a new-and-improved long-term deal at the King Power Stadium.
The England international remains a Leicester player despite strong interest from Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
City see the 25-year-old as a central figure in Claude Puel's side and want to reflect his status with fresh terms which, according to the Daily Mail, will see his wages climb from £45,000 a week to £75,000.
Maguire, who is already under contract with the Foxes until 2022, is said to be at an advanced stages in negotiations with Leicester chiefs.
United were rumoured to be willing to pay £65m to sign the former Sheffield United defender, only for Puel's men to rebuff their approach.
