Hannover have progressed to the Europa League round of 32 as Group L winners with a 2-2 away draw against Levante.
The German club started the game the brighter of the two sides at Ciudad de Valencia, and went ahead in the 18th minute through a Lars Stindl shot from close range.
Eight minutes later it became 2-0 to Hannover when Didier Ya Konan fired in from the centre of the Levante penalty area past goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Four minutes into the second half Angel halved the deficit for the Spanish hosts when he found the target from close range.
Angel came close to restoring parity in the 73rd minute, but his right-footed shot was saved by Ron-Robert Zieler.
The home side eventually equalised in the fourth minute of injury time when Vicente Iborra headed home Jose Barkero's cross from close range.
The result in Valencia sees Levante finish second in the group behind Hannover.
