Levante look to be in control of their Europa League last-32 tie against Olympiacos following a 3-0 first-leg win in Spain on Thursday night.
Pedro Rios gave the Spaniards the lead on 10 minutes before Obafemi Martins put his penalty wide midway through the half after Djamel Abdoun had been sent off for the visitors.
However, Levante doubled their advantage from the spot before the break through Barkero following Jose Holebas's foul.
Martins sealed the win on the night just before the hour when he calmly slotted past Balazs Megyeri.
