Lille coach Rudi Garcia has claimed that his team are not good enough to play in the Champions League following their 6-1 thrashing at Bayern Munich.
The Ligue 1 side were brushed aside during Wednesday's match at the Allianz Arena as they slumped to their fourth defeat in four games.
"The hardest thing now is to manage the repercussions of a rout such as this," Garcia told reporters. "We'll have to put this aside quickly. We must forget the Champions League for a while.
"We just showed we are not good enough to play in this competition. In our last two matches in the Champions League we will try to salvage our pride, to score goals and avoid finishing on zero points."
Garcia's side will have the chance to get their first points on the board on November 20 when they travel to Belarus to face BATE Borisov.
