Rio Mavuba has joked that Lille "have Jesus in goal" following Vincent Enyeama's performance against AS Monaco on Sunday.
The Nigerian keeper produced a number of outstanding saves as Les Dogues climbed above Monaco to second in the table thanks to a 2-0 win at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday.
"We have Jesus in goals," captain Mavuba told reporters after the match. "He was huge tonight.
"We're in a great frame of mind at the moment; we were tough in midfield, impeccable in defence and we took our chances up front. It was perfect."
Enyeama has now kept a clean sheet in his last seven consecutive Ligue 1 matches.
