Lille and Nantes have played out a goalless draw in their Ligue 1 meeting this afternoon.
The visitors almost opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Serge Gakpe latched onto Issa Cissokho's pass and let fly, forcing Vincent Enyeama into a save.
Nantes came close again shortly before half time as Itay Shechter cut into the box and went for goal from a tight angle, but he was also denied by Enyeama.
The away side remained dominant until the hour mark, but Lille began to apply some pressure of their own shortly after, with former Chelsea man Salomon Kalou heading narrowly over in the 64th minute.
Kalou came even closer in the 76th minute when he picked up Ryan Mendes's headed pass and forced an impressive save out of Remy Riou in the Nantes goal.
Franck Beria could have won it for the hosts in the 90th minute, but Riou was on hand to keep out his right-footed drive and ensure that the match ended goalless.
