Brugge vs. Porto (Wednesday, 5.45pm)

This season's surprise package in the Champions League, Club Brugge, welcome Porto to the Jan Breydel Stadium on Wednesday looking to protect their unbeaten record in Group B.

With Atletico Madrid just two points behind the defending Portuguese champions, an away win could be crucial in the race for qualification for the knockout stages.

We say: Club Brugge 1-2 Porto

Desperate not only for Champions League progression, but also to make up for an O Classico defeat on Friday, Porto should come into this game extremely motivated to get the three points.

Club Brugge are yet to concede in the Champions League this season and will not roll over easily, but their early qualification could open the door for a crucial away win.

Inter Milan vs. Plzen (Wednesday, 5.45pm)

On the verge of reaching the Champions League knockout stage for a second year in succession, Inter Milan welcome pointless Viktoria Plzen to San Siro on Wednesday.

After taking four points from Barcelona across two epic encounters, Inter can seal progress with a third win from five Group C games; Plzen are out of contention but could still snatch a Europa League spot via an improbable turn of events.

We say: Inter Milan 3-1 Viktoria Plzen

Starting to click into top gear, Inter are quite capable of securing the points needed for progress, but their recent defensive record offers Plzen some hope. Even if the game is finely balanced after 45 minutes, 12 of the Nerazzurri's last 14 Champions League goals have been scored in the second half, which suggests another late flurry could be on the cards.

Napoli vs. Rangers (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

A meeting of perfect and pointless takes place at Stadio Maradona on Wednesday, as relentless Napoli host rock-bottom Rangers in the Champions League.

Boasting a 100% record in Group A, the Serie A side confirmed qualification last time out with another spectacular win, while their Scottish counterparts were destroyed 7-1 by Liverpool - the worst home defeat in their history.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Rangers

Facing a particularly daunting prospect at the Maradona, off-form Rangers are unlikely to earn their first point of the group stage this week. With no real need to go at full throttle, Napoli may step off the accelerator if they can establish another early lead; settling for a relatively routine win.

Ajax vs. Liverpool (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Ajax must beat Liverpool to remain in the Champions League when the two sides meet at the Johann Cruyff Arena on Wednesday.

A point would be good enough to see the Reds progress to the knockout stages with one match to spare, although Jurgen Klopp's side may require a victory if they are to stand a chance of overthrowing Napoli at the top of Group A.

We say: Ajax 1-2 Liverpool

We expect a fiercely competitive game on Wednesday, with both teams needing a positive result to boost their chances of progressing to the knockout stages.

Given that a draw is essentially of little use to Ajax, Schreuder will almost certainly go all out for the win, potentially playing into Liverpool's hands in transition.

Atletico vs. B. Leverkusen (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

With just one victory apiece from their opening four Group B games, Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen go head-to-head in an all-important clash in the Champions League.

While the hosts recorded an impressive victory in LaLiga at Real Betis last time out, the German visitors continued their disappointing start to the season, with a 1-1 draw to Wolfsburg.

We say: Atletico Madrid 3-1 Bayer Leverkusen

We are expecting an entertaining game here, as two talented sides battle it out in an all-or-nothing clash.

The visitors will be dangerous with the likes of Moussa Diaby on the break, but we think the quality of Simeone's side should be enough to seal a crucial win.

Barcelona vs. Bayern (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be hoping to still be in with a chance of reaching the knockout round of the Champions League when they welcome Bayern Munich to Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

The Catalan outfit are third in Group C, three points behind second-placed Inter Milan, who would qualify by beating Viktoria Plzen earlier in the evening, while Bayern top the section with 12 points, having won all four of their matches in the section to progress to the round of 16 with two games to spare.

We say: Barcelona 2-2 Bayern Munich

We are expecting Inter to beat Plzen in the earlier match, which would see Barcelona confirmed in third position in the group. If that is the case, Bayern would need to triumph here to be confirmed as section winners, but we have a feeling that an entertaining contest will end with the points being shared.

Spurs vs. Sporting Lisbon (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Aiming to secure a place in the last 16 of the Champions League and avoid a repeat of recent history, Tottenham Hotspur welcome Sporting Lisbon to North London for Wednesday's Group D match.

Antonio Conte's side sit at the top of the section and will advance to the knockout rounds with a win here, while Sporting sit in third, just one point worse off than their confidence-sapped hosts.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Sporting Lisbon

Tottenham would do well to take advantage of Sporting's significantly reduced defence this week, especially given their penchant for goals at home, but it is difficult to back Conte's side with any real confidence while Kulusevski is not there to pick the lock.

Sporting's own attacking prowess will be taken down a notch without top goalscorer and top assister Goncalves, but barring any more moments of madness from Amorim's side, we can envisage a low-scoring stalemate as Tottenham share the points in Europe's premier competition for the first time in over a decade.

Frankfurt vs. Marseille (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Eintracht Frankfurt will be aiming to leapfrog Marseille in Group D of the Champions League when they face each other on Wednesday.

The visitors currently occupy second spot ahead of Sporting Lisbon due to head-to-head rules, with Frankfurt two points behind both teams.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 Marseille

Frankfurt clearly head into this match in superior form and we expect them to return to winning ways in Europe as a result.

Deutsche Bank Park is likely to have a raucous atmosphere with this match representing a potentially do or die scenario in terms of the hosts' progression to the knockout stages, with Marseille not exactly looking like a team capable of riding much adversity at present.
