Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Girona.

Resuming Champions League duty after a rare weekend off, Liverpool head to the Iberian Peninsula to lock horns with La Liga upstarts Girona on Tuesday night.

Arne Slot's men remain the team to beat in Europe's premier tournament after seeing off holders Real Madrid 2-0 on matchday five, thereby maintaining their perfect record as they sit top of the standings.

The Reds were due to face off with Everton in the final Premier League Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday, but the match was postponed owing to Storm Darragh, giving Slot and co more time to plan ahead for Tuesday's tussle.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Girona, who were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Real Madrid at the weekend.

Tyler Morton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Fulham)

Young midfielder Tyler Morton did not make the journey to Girona due to a knock, which has also rendered him doubtful for the weekend's battle with Fulham, although he would not have been expected to start either match anyway.

Ibrahima Konate

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

As his teammates rejoiced in beating Real Madrid, Ibrahima Konate stayed down with a knee injury and eventually hobbled off gingerly. Slot has now conceded that the Frenchman will spend a few weeks on the sidelines, meaning that a return before Christmas is unlikely.

Conor Bradley

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

Likewise, Conor Bradley suffered a hamstring concern in the win over Carlo Ancelotti's men, where he was a standout performer, and he will not return for a short while either.

Kostas Tsimikas

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

Left-back Kostas Tsimikas is on the way back from an ankle injury sustained in a recent training session, and the Greek should also not return to first-team action for at least another fortnight.

Diogo Jota

Status: Out
Type of injury: Abdominal
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Fulham)

Diogo Jota is on the verge of returning from his abdominal problem and was back in full training earlier this week, but the trip to Girona has just come a little bit too soon for him.

Alisson Becker

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 10 (vs. Girona)

Alisson Becker has made the journey to Spain following a two-month layoff with a hamstring problem, and the Brazilian shot-stopper will be in contention to start barring an unforeseen setback.

Federico Chiesa

Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Fulham)

Federico Chiesa has been earning some minutes with the Under-21s as he bids to return to full fitness, but he has since come down with an illness and will not be involved in Tuesday's game.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Alexis Mac Allister

Return date: December 18 (vs. Southampton)

Alexis Mac Allister - who is also suspended for Liverpool's next Premier League game - picked up his third yellow card of the 2024-25 UCL against Real Madrid and is banned for the showdown with Girona.
