Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been ruled out of his side's Champions League tie with Red Star Belgrade through injury.
Henderson was taken off as a precaution at half time of his side's Premier League win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday after complaining of tightness in his hamstring.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the 28-year-old will definitely miss the visit of Red Star and could also be sidelined for this weekend's match against Cardiff City.
"It's not too good, to be honest," Klopp told Liverpool's official website when asked about Henderson's condition.
"It's nothing we have to worry too much about, but it's a hamstring issue so we will have to see. He will not be available for tomorrow for sure, and probably not Cardiff, but hopefully then he can be back. We will see."
The Reds will also be without Naby Keita for the Group C game, but Sadio Mane has declared himself fit to start after missing the Huddersfield game with an injured thumb.
