Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has declared himself fit to start his side's Champions League Group C clash with Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday night.
Mane injured his thumb during the international break and underwent surgery on the problem, ruling him out of Saturday's 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
However, the Senegal forward has told the club that he has fully recovered and is ready to return to training ahead of Wednesday's match at Anfield.
Mane is now expected to join Roberto Firmino in returning to the starting lineup alongside Mohamed Salah, who scored the only goal of the game against the Terriers.
Liverpool are still sweating over the fitness of captain Jordan Henderson, though, after he was taken off at half time against Huddersfield due to feeling tightness in his hamstring.
Jurgen Klopp's side have won one and lost one in Group C so far this season.
