Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Loris Karius will feature in the starting lineup for game against Spartak Moscow.
After a 2-2 draw with Sevilla on matchday one, Liverpool travel to Russia looking for three points that would boost their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages.
Klopp has confirmed that Karius remains as deputy to Simon Mignolet, but the German has been handed another opportunity to impress in European football's premier competition.
The 50-year-old told reporters: "I am not sure if I have to make a decision like this [the club's 'Champions League goalkeeper']. It's all about performing.
"That shouldn't be taken as me saying, 'You are not performing, you're out of the goal'. Everyone is allowed to make mistakes or whatever, but it's about performing in training and the games for all of our goalkeepers.
"He will play tomorrow and we will see, but Simon is the No.1 and that's the situation."
Karius will be making his third outing of the campaign after previous starts against Arsenal and Sevilla.
