Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner has talked up the man-management capabilities of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the German prepares to lead the Reds into a Champions League final clash with Real Madrid.
Wagner and Klopp spent time together working at Borussia Dortmund and the Town manager, who is in Kiev to support his close friend on Saturday night, has hailed the Liverpool coach's success in bringing his players together as a cohesive unit.
"He is the nectar. He is exactly the human he seems to be and that is why everyone has such a good, warm relationship with him: backroom staff, players, supporters," Wagner told PA.
"He doesn't play a role and he is honest and says what he thinks and I think this is what everyone likes to hear.
"But without world-class tactical ability you are not able to reach so many finals and he is in a Champions League final for the second time with two teams (Dortmund and Liverpool) which before the campaign no-one expected to be in the final."
Klopp is yet to win a Champions League crown, although victory in Kiev would see Liverpool claim their sixth in the club's history.
