Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has played down fitness concerns surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo by insisting that the Portuguese forward is '120% fit' for the Champions League final.
Ronaldo was seen as a slight doubt for the showdown with Liverpool on May 26 after spraining his ankle in the 2-2 draw with Barcelona just under a fortnight ago.
The 33-year-old has trained as normal in the past couple of days, however, and Zidane is more than happy with his star man's progress heading into the Kiev final.
"Maybe right now he is 120%. He is fine. If Cristiano is 120% that's fine with me," he told reporters.
Zidane also admitted that he is pleased with the recent form shown by Gareth Bale, who is expected to play a part against Liverpool.
"You can say he's better because of the goals he has scored, but he has been training well," the Frenchman added. "The most important thing is to see everyone in good physical shape. That's what I care about."
Madrid face Villarreal on Saturday evening in their final La Liga match of the season, with second place still in their sights.
