Raheem Sterling appears to have responded to his critics on Twitter after it was revealed that he was too tired to start England's Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia last night.
Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson revealed yesterday that the 19-year-old failed to complete a training session on Saturday evening because he was feeling too tired.
The Liverpool starlet, who played 45 minutes in last Thursday's 5-0 win over San Marino at Wembley, came off the bench to feature in last night's 1-0 victory over Estonia.
On Twitter, Sterling retweeted messages from some of his critics who said, "prone to Tiredness? I use to play 3 Rugby matches a week when I was 19! #tiredness #yourhavingalaugh #stillyoung," and "oi @sterling31 sod off and choose to play for Jamaica if you're going to continue all this tired nonsense."
The teenager then posted a cryptic tweet saying: "Now listening too.. Excuse me for being human omw home."
Sterling has returned to club Liverpool ahead of this weekend's Premier League match against Queens Park Rangers.
