Besiktas striker Demba Ba has claimed that he hopes to dampen Liverpool's Europa League hopes by scoring against them once again at Anfield.
Last season, the 29-year-old ruined the Reds' Premier League title hopes by scoring at Anfield for Chelsea after Steven Gerrard slipped and lost possession of the ball in a dangerous area.
Since then, Ba has moved on to Turkish side Besiktas, who paid around £5m for the striker's services, and hopes to cause trouble yet again on Merseyside.
"It is going to be a fun trip to Liverpool because I love playing in England," the Liverpool Echo quotes Ba as saying.
"The atmosphere at Anfield is going to be amazing as it always is. I did my job against Liverpool last season, Gerrard was just unlucky, I did what I had to and hope to do the same this time around."
Liverpool will host Besiktas in the last-32 first leg on Thursday evening.
