Liverpool striker Divock Origi has said that his side's 4-3 victory over Borussia Dortmund this evening was a "special moment".
The Reds appeared to be on course for a quarter-final exit from the Europa League when Dortmund took a 2-0 lead inside 10 minutes and restored their two-goal advantage shortly before the hour having seen Origi pull one back.
However, goals from Philippe Coutinho, Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren in the final 25 minutes sealed a dramatic comeback victory on a memorable European night at Anfield as Liverpool booked their place in the semi-finals.
"We can tell our children and grandchildren. When we scored the first goal we felt it was going to be a special moment," Origi told BT Sport.
Liverpool are joined in the semi-finals by Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk and Villarreal, with the draw due to take place tomorrow.
