Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has claimed that his side created enough chances to secure a win against Sion in their Europa League Group B clash on Thursday night.
The game at Anfield ultimately finished 1-1, with Lallana's fourth-minute goal cancelled out by Ebenezer Assifuah's reply 14 minutes later.
Lallana told reporters after the game: "We need to win our home games in this competition. We had enough chances tonight - listen, we wanted three points and we felt we created enough.
"No excuses, I should have had a second. Divock Origi had a few good opportunities. I'm sure the fans are frustrated. We have a massive game on Sunday. The derby has spice in it and hopefully we can get three points."
Liverpool, who sit second in Group B following two draws from their opening two games, head to Goodison Park to face city rivals Everton on Sunday.
