Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has underlined the importance of European football to the club.
The Reds are chasing a Europa League spot in the Premier League and currently sit seventh in the in the table, seven points behind fifth-placed Chelsea, who currently occupy the final European place.
"Liverpool must play for European trophies all the time," the Daily Mail quotes Coutinho as saying.
"We will do our utmost in the last few games to get maximum points in order for us reach a place in the Europa League. It's very important for the club and for the players."
The Brazilian signed from Inter Milan in January for a reported fee of £8.5m.
