Liverpool take a break from their Premier League title push to take on Nottingham Forest in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday evening.

Jurgen Klopp's side arrive at the City Ground having seen off Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, with Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino both netting in the second half.

The Reds have seen off Shrewsbury Town, Cardiff City and Norwich City to make the last eight, and Klopp is still searching for his first slice of FA Cup glory at Anfield.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Championship outfit.

James Milner

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: March 20 (vs. Forest)

James Milner was ruled out of the Arsenal win due to illness, and it remains to be seen if the veteran midfielder will be fit enough to take part in the cup.

Kostas Tsimikas

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: March 20 (vs. Forest)

Left-back Kostas Tsimikas - who would expect a start in this clash - also fell victim to a virus before the trip to the Emirates and is facing a race against time to make the cut here.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Klopp revealed in his pre-match press conference that Trent Alexander-Arnold had picked up a hamstring injury, with the right-back now set for "weeks" on the sidelines.

Mohamed Salah

Status: Minor doubt

Possible return date: March 20 (vs. Forest)

Mohamed Salah's foot problem has flared up since he came on as a substitute in the win over Arsenal, and he will need to be assessed ahead of the quarter-final.
