Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he will make no decision on the inclusion of Steven Gerrard against Blackburn Rovers until the weekend.
Gerrard has been absent from the first-team squad since February 10 after picking up a hamstring injury, and Rodgers has announced that the midfielder will need to be assessed before the FA Cup quarter-final tie on Sunday afternoon.
The 42-year-old told reporters: "Steven Gerrard is with the rehab team. We will assess that in the next couple of days."
Gerrard has announced that he will depart Anfield at the end of the season to link up with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.
