Bolton Wanderers striker Emile Heskey has admitted that he cannot wait to return to Anfield to face former club Liverpool in this evening's FA Cup clash.
The 37-year-old won four major trophies - one FA Cup, one UEFA Cup and two League Cups - in a fruitful four-year spell on Merseyside.
"It's wonderful," he told reporters. "Who'd have thought at 37 I'd be going back to play at the club where I had so much success?
"We won a lot of trophies and the fans were wonderful for me and I thank them for that. Now I get the opportunity to go back and play against them."
Heskey signed a short-term contract with the Trotters last month after spending two years with Australian outfit Newcastle Jets.
The veteran striker has netted once in three games for Bolton thus far.
