Brendan Rodgers has said that he hopes Daniel Sturridge will be available for Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa this weekend.
Sturridge missed Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Monday after suffering a knock during their FA Cup quarter-final replay victory over Blackburn Rovers last week.
"He will hopefully be okay for the weekend. I will know more in the week," Rodgers told Sky Sports News.
"He feels reasonably fine so we are hoping by the middle of the week we will have an indication where he is at."
Rodgers has previously said that Sturridge will not be fully fit until the summer.
