Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has suggested that his side should have been awarded a penalty during their goalless draw against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.
The Anfield club were held at home by Gary Bowyer's side, but Adam Lallana might have earned the Reds a penalty after he went down under a challenge from Rovers captain Matt Kilgallon.
"It's been difficult here against Championship teams, Blackburn deserve credit. But my players also deserve credit, they were missing sharpness but they kept going and tried to create chances," said Rodgers, according to the Daily Star.
"It wasn't to be but we will look to get into the semi-final when we play away. When you have that many bodies behind the ball it's difficult.
"I thought we should have had a penalty on Adam Lallana and if you get a goal in the first 20 minutes it opens the game up."
The teams will now face each other at Ewood Park to determine who reaches the semi-finals.
