Liverpool frontman Divock Origi has reportedly been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the 20-year-old will be out until mid-January with the problem suffered in the first half of Saturday's Premier League match against Leicester City.
Origi was seemingly ahead of Christian Benteke in the strikers' pecking order, but his fellow Belgian has now scored the winners both against Leicester and last night at Sunderland in Origi's absence.
With Origi joining Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings on the treatment table, Benteke and teenager Jerome Sinclair are the only out-and-out strikers currently available to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who recently bemoaned the number of hamstring injuries he has had to deal with since taking over at Anfield.
