Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised his side for a job well done in reaching the semi-finals of the EFL Cup after seeing off Leeds United on Tuesday night.
Divock Origi opened the scoring on 76 minutes at Anfield before 17-year-old substitute Ben Woodburn registered his first senior goal nine minutes from time for a 2-0 win.
Klopp told reporters: "We made a few changes and Leeds are a very strong side, but I don't think there was a lot for them to earn in the game.
"We weren't the most creative side tonight. We could've done better, and we did in the second half. We created more, so it's a deserved win. We are in the semis so all good."
The victory sends Liverpool into the League Cup last four for the third year in a row, with the first leg set for January 10 or January 11 and the return leg on either January 24 or January 25.
