Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has expressed his pride after Lazar Markovic scored his first goal for the Reds in last night's Capital One Cup tie against Bournemouth.
The 20-year-old scored the second goal in Liverpool's 3-1 triumph, which secured their place in the final four, at the Goldsands Stadium.
"I am very proud of Markovic," Toure told the club's official website. "Since he came here, he hasn't had a lot of chances to play but he's shown great character and worked hard in training. He is a great boy, works hard, is very quick and technically is very, very good."
Liverpool will face Chelsea in the semi-finals.
