Relive Sports Mole's live coverage of Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League.

Two goals from Roberto Firmino have helped Liverpool ease to a 4-1 victory over Leicester City.

After the Brazilian had opened the scoring after 13 minutes, Saido Mane added a second before Jamie Vardy pulled one back for the Foxes.

However, Adam Lallana netted a third soon after the break before Firmino completed the rout with a minute remaining of normal time.

Read below to see how the action unfolded at Anfield.

Hello, and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the match in the Premier League between Liverpool and Leicester City.
It has already been quite the afternoon in the Premier League and we have more to come for you this evening. In the first match since the redevelopment of the main stand was completed at Anfield, Liverpool host Leicester as both teams look to improve on their total of four points from their opening three games.
Without further ado, let's get straight to the team news. There are significant selections for both teams...
LIVERPOOL XI: Mignolet; Clyne, Matip, Lucas, Milner; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Lallana; Mane, Firmino, Sturridge
LIVERPOOL SUBSTITUTES: Karius, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Grujic, Coutinho, Origi
LEICESTER CITY XI: Schmeichel; Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Amartey, Albrighton; Okazaki, Vardy
LEICESTER CITY SUBSTITUTES: Hernandez, Chilwell, Musa, King, Zieler, Gray, Ulloa
Reports may have suggested that Sturridge was on his way out of Liverpool but the England international gets his wish and starts in attack this evening. He takes the place of Coutinho, while Lucas has been brought into the defence instead of Lovren, who is sporting a very painful-looking black eye.
As for Leicester, club-record signing Slimani has been left out of the Foxes squad so Vardy continues in attack. Musa must wait a bit longer to make his first start for the Foxes.
PREDICTION! With less than 10 minutes to go until kickoff, let's make our prediction. It's a really difficult one to call but we are going to go with Liverpool, who will be eager to impress their supporters with them having to wait for their first viewing of their side in the Premier League this season. Leicester start the juggling between domestic and European action and it's possible that some of their players may have one eye on their trip to Club Brugges in midweek.
As we touched upon earlier, it has been some afternoon in the Premier League. Want to find a place where you can access match reports for every game? Of course you do. Click here for some pre-match reading. Just click the fixture that takes your fancy.
We are underway at Anfield and Leicester already have a corner.
It comes to nothing but this has been a fairly positive from the visitors. Ranieri has instructed his team to press Liverpool where they can.
SHOT! A poor clearance from a Liverpool defender sees the ball fall at the feet of Okazaki but despite having time and space, the playmaker lashed his effort high into the Kop.
We are to see anything of Liverpool as an attacking force. Firmino and Mane are trying to pull the strings inside the Leicester half but so far, they are being met by a determined-looking Leicester backline.
Mahrez has returned after the international break with a bit of a swagger. Maybe he's been boosted by fellow Algerian Slimani joining the club? It can only be good news for Leicester.
GOAL! Liverpool 1-0 Leicester City (Firmino)
I was about to comment on how Liverpool have started to have a lot more possession but they have managed to put it to good use with an excellent goal through Firmino. After Milner received the ball on the left, he slid it inside for Firmino and after wrong-footing Huth, he slotted the ball into the bottom corner from 14 yards out.
As good as that goal was, Ranieri will be bitterly disappointed that Leicester's promising start has been undone. They had set their stall out well and now they face chasing this game. They have the players to do so but Liverpool are well on top now.
SHOT! Sturridge has barely contributed thus far but he is given the chance to get a shot on goal after playing a one-two with Wijnaldum. However, he scuffs his effort and it rolls through to Schmeichel.
SHOT! I'm a bit sceptical about Wijnaldum being used as a central midfielder but he is starting to get himself in a lot of Liverpool's play. After some neat build-up play, the ball returned to the Dutchman but he could only curl his effort from 25 yards into the grateful hands of Schmeichel.
CHANCE! How have Liverpool not scored a second?! Mane plays a one-two with Lallana before cutting the ball back for Sturridge who is waiting around six yards out. However, his first-time effort is straight at Schmeichel and Leicester are able to clear.
BOOKING! Amartey is the first player into the book after a very late challenge on Wijnaldum. It deserves nothing more than a yellow but the midfielder is going to have to be careful now. He was nowhere near the ball.
GOAL! Liverpool 2-0 Leicester City (Mane)
Liverpool look very, very good here. A through ball from Henderson finds the run of Sturridge and rather than shoot, the forward back-heels the ball into the path of Mane who flicks the ball over Schmeichel and into the net. The goalkeeper got a hand to it but he couldn't stop the ball trickling into the net.
SUBSTITUTION! It goes from bad to worse for Leicester as Simpson is forced off with a hamstring injury. Hernandez is on in his place.
SHOT! More enterprising play from Liverpool sees Sturridge burst clear once again before laying the ball off to Wijnaldum. The Dutchman tries to curl his shot into the top corner but it is never threatening the goal.
GOAL! Liverpool 2-1 Leicester City (Vardy)
We have our first contender for clanger of the season. Lucas receives the ball inside his own penalty area and after coming under pressure from Okazaki, he miscontrols the ball before poking it into the path of Vardy, who has the easy task of firing the ball into an empty net from six yards.
WOODWORK! Leicester come so close to finding an equaliser! A long throw from Hernandez causes all kinds of confusion in the penalty area and as Mignolet misses his punch, Huth heads towards goal but his effort clips the bar and goes over. Klopp is going to be furious at half time...
There will be two minutes of added-on time.
HALF TIME: Liverpool 2-1 Leicester City
The half-time whistle goes at Anfield and Liverpool lead what has been a terrific contest by two goals to one. Liverpool should really have a clearer advantage but that mistake from Lucas has left this match finely poised.
We are back underway at Anfield.
Ranieri has decided to introduce Musa at half time as he goes in search of an equaliser. Okazaki is the man to make way but he never completes a game so it's not a huge surprise. Leicester have started the second half on top.
Liverpool are really pushing their luck with the time they are taking with passing the ball inside their own area, especially with Vardy and Musa on the prowl. Mignolet just about avoids calamity on this occasion but he doesn't need to be doing that too often.
Liverpool are dispossessed in the final third as they continue to play into Leicester's hand. Wijnaldum was the guilty party here as he gave Vardy a chance to run at the defence but it was a scenario involving four on one so the England international was easily muscled out.
GOAL! Liverpool 3-1 Leicester City (Lallana)
Moments after Sturridge fails to make the most of a one-on-one chance, Liverpool net a third through a thunderous strike from Lallana, who finds the top corner from 16 yards after being teed up by Wijnaldum. The playmaker is starting to find a bit of form in front of goal.
Liverpool have regained that spring in their step once again. They look full of goals but given the way that they have defended today, Leicester will always be in this match if they can avoid going further behind over the next 15 minutes or so.
CHANCE! What a game this has been and Vardy should have added a fifth goal. Mahrez does brilliantly to thread the ball through to the forward who turns instinctively and gets a shot away but Mignolet gets his legs in the way despite appearing to dive the wrong way.
SUBSTITUTION! Ranieri makes his second change of the game with Ulloa being introduced in place of Albrighton. Very attacking move from the Italian.
This game has definitely got more goals in it. Leicester are throwing men forward at every given opportunity and when they lose the ball, Liverpool are hitting them on the break.
We have just 20 minutes remaining at Anfield. Leicester have ditched playing deep and are now looking to play the offside trap. Very dangerous game against an attack as rapid as Liverpool's.
Hernandez has been decent from an attacking perspective since replacing Simpson and he has continued that threat by finding Huth with a cross. However, the German's header was tame and always drifting wide of the post.
Mahrez is still trying to work his magic but despite a sharp run inside, his attempted curler is deflected wide for a corner. From the resulting set piece, Drinkwater was found on the edge of the penalty area with his volley going just wide of the post. The Foxes are starting to press...
SUBSTITUTIONS! Double change from Liverpool who withdraw both Wijnaldum and Sturridge with Coutinho and Stewart taking their places.
CHANCE! That should be that, but it's not, so we remain at 3-1. Firmino gets to the byline before cutting the ball back for Henderson. He has plenty of time to get his half-volley on target but he can only blaze the ball into the Kop.
Time is starting to run out for Leicester. They are still making a decent fist of this but they have not been able to create a clear-cut chance. Vardy remains a threat but with just six minutes left, this game is getting away from the Foxes.
CHANCE! More outstanding play from Liverpool sees Firmino get goal-side of Huth before flicking the ball to Manen. He ghosts into the centre of the penalty area but he gets too close to Schmeichel who pulls off the block.
GOAL! Liverpool 4-1 Leicester City (Firmino)
Firmino has been the star of the show this afternoon and he nets a deserved fourth for the Merseyside giants. Schmeichel attempted to beat Mane to a through-ball but the Liverpool player won the race for the ball. After biding his time, he passed to Firmino who brought the ball inside the defender before slotting into an empty net.
There will be five minutes of added-on time.
FULL TIME: Liverpool 4-1 Leicester City
The full-time whistle goes at Anfield and Liverpool have completed an excellent win over Leicester. The defending champions had their moments but Liverpool were convincing victors as they moved into fifth place in the table.
That will be all from Sports Mole for this game. Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you for more Premier League action tomorrow. Goodbye for now.
