Liverpool new boy Arthur has been named on the bench for Saturday's Merseyside derby with Everton in the Premier League, while there is a start for Fabio Carvalho.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was initially pessimistic about Arthur's chances of obtaining international clearance in time for the derby following his deadline-day arrival from Juventus on loan.
However, the Brazilian midfielder has been given the green light to make his debut and is on the bench for Liverpool, who have handed Carvalho a start alongside Harvey Elliott and Fabinho following his 98th-minute winner against Newcastle United.
Despite his impressive exploits during Darwin Nunez's suspension, Roberto Firmino drops back down to the bench as the Uruguayan makes an immediate return to the first XI alongside Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz.
Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk pair up at the back once more, but Kostas Tsimikas has been drafted in at left-back as Andy Robertson takes a spot on the bench alongside Joel Matip and Nat Phillips.
Diogo Jota has also made the matchday squad after spending a number of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, and he will be hoping to make an impact as a substitute.
