Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has refused to publicly forgive Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam for putting the Welshman through a pre-season injury scare.
The Scotsman was labelled a "coward" by the 23-year-old, who was forced to seek treatment following a reckless tackle by Adam during a goalless friendly between the two sides in Baltimore on Saturday.
When asked by Sky Sports News if he had forgiven the Liverpool midfielder, Bale responded: "I am just not going to comment.
"People like that are not worth commenting on, he knows what he did wrong himself and just leave it up to what he does.
"It has been a rollercoaster and a lot of stuff in the media but I don't pay too much attention and I am concentrating on getting my fitness and being right for the start of the season."
Meanwhile, Bale scored in Spurs' 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls in a pre-season friendly last night.
