Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has said the Merseyside club will be "there or thereabouts" in regards to the title race following his side's 4-1 victory over West Ham United this afternoon.
The win has lifted Liverpool up to second place in the Premier League table, four points adrift of leaders Arsenal, and Johnson believes that the Reds will be challenging for the title come May.
"All we've got to do is worry about ourselves and if we keep picking up three points then we are going to be there or thereabouts," he told Sky Sports News after the game.
Johnson also wore the armband for Liverpool for the first time this afternoon, and the right-back tweeted to say he was "very proud" to do so.
