Liverpool defender Martin Kelly has been called up to the England squad for the friendly against Norway this weekend.
Newly-appointed boss Roy Hodgson, who named his provisional Euro 2012 squad last week, takes charge of his first game since being appointed Fabio Capello's successor on Saturday.
Kelly was not awarded a place in the 23-man party, but he has been asked to join up with the Three Lions for the match in Oslo.
The 22-year old will return to Anfield following the game and will not travel with the squad to the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
Kelly has made six appearances for the national team at Under-21 level.
