Dirk Kuyt has expressed his delight in reaching 50 goals for Liverpool after six years with the Merseyside club.
The Dutch international reached the milestone in the Reds' 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last night following his strike against Manchester United in Liverpool's 2-1 victory in the FA Cup fixture last weekend.
"Finally I got the goal and it has took me a while," Kuyt told the club's official website. "It was great to score the winner against United and it was a proud moment to get my 50th league goal for Liverpool.
"It's something that makes me really proud as not many Dutch people have come over here and done that, so it's special. It was great to score another goal and hopefully I can keep going and get a lot more now."
Liverpool's next challenge is a Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.
