Liverpool have reportedly not approached Brendan Rodgers over the club's managerial vacancy following the Swansea City manager's two-hour meeting with the Welsh club's chairman Huw Jenkins.
It emerged earlier today that the Northern Irishman was planning on having a meeting with the Swans' chairman following weeks of speculation linking the manager to Anfield.
While the 39-year-old did hold talks with the Swansea board today, it is understood that an approach from the Reds has not been made nor is Rodgers due to have discussions with Liverpool's American owners this week, according to Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile, Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez, who is also thought to be in the running to replace Kenny Dalglish, arrived back in the North West today after a holiday in Barbados.
