Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has tipped teammate Mario Balotelli to add to his tally after the Italian striker netted his first Premier League goal for the Reds in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Balotelli was brought on as a second-half substitute and grabbed the winning goal for Brendan Rodgers's men, and the effort was just the striker's third since his £16m move from AC Milan back in August.
Sakho told the club's official website: "It's great news for him, for the team and for the club.
"I hope he will score many goals for the team because he is a very good man and I know every day he works hard in training. I'm happy for him."
Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup this weekend.
