Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has reportedly agreed to join Middlesbrough on loan after Sunday's Carling Cup final.
Shelvey, 19, has already had one loan spell in the Championship this season, scoring six goals in ten appearances for Blackpool, including one against Middlesbrough.
Manager Tony Mowbray will be hopeful that Shelvey can help his side's promotion push, with Boro currently sitting sixth in the Championship, six points behind the automatic promotion spots.
Shelvey has made just four appearances for Liverpool so far this season, scoring one goal.
