England's newest call-up Luke Shaw should feature against several of his future international teammates on Saturday when Southampton host Liverpool.
The 18-year-old left-back is in line for his senior debut after being selected in Roy Hodgson's 30-man squad for the friendly against Denmark at Wembley next week.
His club teammates Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert were also included, but Southampton's quartet of Three Lions are outnumbered by the five selected from title-chasing Liverpool.
Raheem Sterling, Glen Johnson and Jordan Henderson were named alongside captain Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, who is chasing a Premier League record of scoring in nine straight games.
It is his and Luis Suarez's prolific partnership - they have netted 43 top-flight goals between them this term - which has put the Reds in a position from which to mount a late charge for their first title since 1990.
They are only four points behind leaders Chelsea, although a defence which has leaked eight goals in its last three games may be a concern to Brendan Rodgers. Mamadou Sakho and Jose Enrique are still sidelined, while Daniel Agger should get the nod over out-of-sorts Kolo Toure at centre-back.
Jos Hooiveld is Mauricio Pochettino's only notable injury worry but his absence is cushioned by the return to fitness of Dejan Lovren, who will probably start in defence in place of Jose Fonte.
The Croatian international scored the only goal of the game to see the Saints victorious in the reverse fixture, and he may be joined in the starting XI by Gaston Ramirez, who is pushing for a recall.
Liverpool are unbeaten in nine Premier League matches, but have won only five away games this season.
