Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has recalled Raheem Sterling to his starting lineup for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield today.
The England international started on the bench for the 2-1 win over Sunderland in midweek, but returns to the fold this afternoon in place of Joe Allen as Rodgers's only change.
Sterling joins forwards Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in attack as the Reds look to usurp Chelsea at the summit of the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson is rewarded for his late goal against Southampton last week by earning a starting berth for Tottenham this afternoon.
Sigurdsson pounced in the closing to seal a 3-2 win over the Saints and supports lone striker Roberto Soldado today alongside Christian Eriksen.
Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan; Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho; Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez
Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Sigurdsson, Lennon, Chadli, Eriksen; Soldado
