The Premier League have reportedly rejected Liverpool's request to move their away meeting with Newcastle United from its scheduled kickoff time.
Liverpool are currently involved in every available competition, with the Reds eyeing a historic quadruple.
However, with Jurgen Klopp's side still active on all fronts, the games are coming thick and fast, leading to the Reds requesting that their scheduled encounter with Newcastle on April 30 be moved from its 12:30pm kickoff time.
The Liverpool boss was particularly unhappy with the Premier League and BT Sport for arranging a lunchtime kickoff less than 72 hours after their first-leg encounter with Villarreal in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Despite Klopp's protestations, the game against the Magpies is set to go ahead at the scheduled time, with Chroniclelive reporting that Liverpool's request has been rejected.
Before the Reds concern themselves with the Newcastle clash, they must negotiate a Merseyside derby against Everton before facing Villarreal next Wednesday as they look to keep their quadruple dreams alive. body check tags ::
