Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford at Anfield.

Liverpool's penultimate home game of the season sees the Reds welcome Brentford to Anfield for Saturday evening's Premier League contest.

The Reds remain on the coat-tails of the top four thanks to a 1-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday evening, with Mohamed Salah scoring the game's only goal from the penalty spot.

Jurgen Klopp's side, who have now won five league games on the bounce, are sitting pretty in fifth place as things stand, four points behind Manchester United thanks to the Red Devils' defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of the Bees, who left it late to beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 last time out.

Diogo Jota

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Rib
Possible return date: May 6 (vs. Brentford)

Despite dealing with a bruised rib for the past couple of weeks, Diogo Jota has been able to come off the bench in Liverpool's last two games. However, the Portuguese could not complete a full training session on Thursday and is now a fresh doubt for this match.

Jordan Henderson

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: May 6 (vs. Brentford)

In addition to Jota, Jordan Henderson is awaiting the results of a scan on an unspecified concern, and Klopp is unsure whether his captain will be fit for the visit of the Bees.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: Unknown

Thiago Alcantara sparked concern when he was left out of the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur and was seen limping towards the benches, and it has now been reported that the Spaniard will undergo surgery on a hip injury, ruling him out for the rest of the season.

Roberto Firmino

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Roberto Firmino has now sat out the Reds' last four matches with a muscular problem, and Klopp revealed earlier this week that he is yet to return to team training, so he will miss out once more.

Calvin Ramsay

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Summer signing Calvin Ramsay's debut season at Anfield was cut short by a season-ending knee injury, and he is instead looking towards the start of the 2023-24 campaign.

Stefan Bajcetic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Adductor
Possible return date: Unknown

As is the case with Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic sustained a severe adductor injury just before March's international break and will also watch the Reds' final four matches from the sidelines.

Naby Keita

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Naby Keita, who is out of contract in the summer, should return from a muscular problem before the season is over, but his comeback will not be just yet.
