Liverpool have reportedly missed out on the signing of Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt, who is said to have agreed a move to Bayern Munich.
It has previously been suggested that both clubs were keen on the 21-year-old, who has emerged as one of the top prospects in German football since breaking into Leverkusen's first team.
Liverpool were allegedly willing to spend big on Brandt but according to German outlet TZ, he has opted to remain in his homeland.
It has been claimed that Bayern were keen to secure his services for the upcoming campaign but with Brandt keen on earning a place in Germany's squad for the World Cup, an agreement is in place for him to remain at his current club for another 12 months.
Brandt has scored 20 goals in 128 appearances for Leverkusen, while he has won eight caps for his national team.
