Jude Bellingham has reportedly come to an agreement with Real Madrid over personal terms, with the midfielder preparing to move to Bernabeu from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The England international has been in excellent form for BVB during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 41 occasions in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and registering seven assists in the process.

Bellingham's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, with many of the leading clubs in world football said to be keen on his signature.

At one stage, Liverpool were seen as the favourites for the 19-year-old, but Real Madrid have now allegedly won the race to sign him during the upcoming market.

Manchester City have also been heavily linked with the former Birmingham City youngster, but the Citizens have reportedly accepted that they are going to miss out on a deal.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bellingham 'has accepted all the details' of the contract proposal from Real Madrid, with the teenager 'excited' to move to the Spanish capital.

However, Los Blancos are yet to reach an agreement with Dortmund when it comes to a transfer fee, with the two clubs set to meet at some stage this month.

There have been suggestions that BVB could demand as much as £130m for the England international, who still has two years left to run on his contract.

However, there is now a belief that a deal could be done in the region of £100m, with Bellingham making it clear that he wants to leave the German club during this summer's transfer window.

Bellingham's form for Birmingham led to suggestions that many of the biggest clubs in England, including Manchester United, were keen to sign him.

However, the midfielder decided to make the move to Germany, and he has now represented Dortmund on 131 occasions, scoring 23 goals and registering 25 assists in the process.

The youngster is currently bidding to help the Black and Yellows win this season's Bundesliga title; Edin Terzic's team are second in the table, one point behind leaders Bayern Munich, ahead of Saturday's clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, will resume their La Liga campaign against Getafe on Saturday, before travelling to Manchester for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Man City next week.
